Narratives in Progress: ‘a glimpse of’ publishes autonomous narrative units which are updated with new content on a regular basis. We’re looking for idiosyncratic, innovative works; prose, poetry, visual and sound Narratives, or hybrid Narratives that include sound, image, text. For more please check here & submit your ideas. We are open year round to proposals.
The Narratives In Progress include hybrid works in which intersect, among others, feminism και queer identity (Α Thing Like You and Me), theatre, mathematics, and formal languages (Centurion by Tom Snarsky – with new instalments on the 10th of every month), meteorology, autobiography and poetry (Walking Through Memories by Jeremy Hight), biography and journal (Second-hand Stories by Dimitra Vamiali), the body and the rhizome (Rhizosome by Theodoros Chiotis – with a new instalment once a week starting from February 2017), appropriations of the lyric style, the fairy tale, and references to the New York School of Poetry (Hotel Women by Anthonis Katsouris).
The multi-authored feminist Narrative in Progress A Thing Like You And Me started on December 2nd, 2015. It features works by Jessica Borusky, Louise Anne Buchler, Sarah Crewe, Charlotte Geater, j/j hastain, D. I., Navine G. Khan-Dossos, Lila Matsumoto, Sophie Mayer, Shelagh Rowan-Legg, Nana Sachini, Sandra Simonds, Erica Schreiner, and Liliana Vasques. It was co-edited by Dimitra Ioannou and Sarah Crewe.
Issues: We’re looking for idiosyncratic, innovative works; prose, poetry, hybrids, video art and sound pieces.
• aglimpseof does not reproduce works that have been blogged or published in magazines and websites, neither ready-mades, unless you appropriate them.
• Contributors participate with original, previously unpublished works, or works that had a very small distribution.

paper aglimpseof: Every now and then we publish the paper ‘a glimpse of,’ a black and white, limited edition. Issue 01 and 02 are part of the collection of the Flaxman Library of the Art Institute of Chicago. Issue 02 was supported by the cultural foundation NEON.
video narrative: The interaction between writing and art continues as the paper ‘a glimpse of’ gives birth to a video narrative inspired by texts published in the print issue. The videos are not interpretations of the texts, but appropriations of thoughts.

D.I.had poems published in Tears in the Fence 64, DATABLEED 3 (2016), the anthology Futures: Poetry of the Greek Crisis (Penned in the Margins, 2015), in Litmus III, the Haematological issue (August 2015), and Blackbox Manifold 14 (Spring 2015). She is the author of the book Soya Sea (Futura, 2008, Athens).
In 2009 she imagined aglimpseof as an experimental platform that activates hybrid narratives with text, sound, and visual works. She chooses the materials and the channels used in the applications of this idea. For more info please visit the Hotel Repertoire.

Sarah made sure that poetry blossoms in aglimpseof as poetry editor from issue 16 to the Politics issue. Sarah is a poet from the Port of Liverpool. She has a chapbook, urchin, with Dancing Girl Press and is the author of RWF/RAF (Stinky Bear Press) a collaboration with Pascal O’Loughlin, that explores the lives of Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Ulrike Meinhof. Her chapbooks include sea witch (Leafe Press), Signs of the Sistership with Sophie Mayer (Knives, Forks & Spoons), and flick invicta (Oystercatcher Press). She co-edited Catechism: Poems For Pussy Riot and is one third of Stinky Bear Press.
